"Dave's ESL Cafe" is one of the classic ESL sites. It contains a whole range of things for ESL students and teachers to do; it has chat rooms, idea exchanges, a job center (for teachers) and many links to other interesting sites.

"English on the Run" is a website created as a guide for EFL teachers and contains information on using Internet resources and incorporating the Internet into classroom activities. Students will also find this site useful.

Linguistics Funland TESL page. This is a huge collection of resources for teachers and students of English. This site is part of the ESLoop; if you've never tried a website loop, here's a good place to start.

A website on creative writing offers teaching ideas and activities for students and teachers. Teachers can find some good copyable handouts and ideas for lessons.

This is the University of Illinois-Champaign's student introduction on how to use the internet to learn English.

Designed by English International Lyon, this particular page has a number of links to grammar rule explanations and grammar exercises.

"The Grammar Guru." This is an interactive program designed for the students to ask questions that are answered by professionals.

It is meant for teachers, and its main purpose is to be used as a teaching resource in class. A small but effective site, it is designed to make students learn and practice verb tenses in English.

A nice search engine designed specifically for grammar problems. Teachers will find it a valuable resource, but it can also be used by students of higher intermediate and advanced proficiency in English.
